Nokia 700 is a compact and versatile smartphone from Nokia. It is the smallest Nokia smartphone yet at 110mm x 50mm x 9.7mm and Nokia even claims it is the world's smallest smartphone ever. Nokia 700 features Symbian Belle with a powerful 1GHz processor and is quite stylish with five colour options.

Small but Powerful Smartphone

Despite its small size, the Nokia 700 is a powerful and elegant smartphone with versatile functionality. Like most of Nokia's latest smartphones Nokia 700 feature a powerful 1GHz processor with a separate 2D/3D graphics processor and 512MB RAM, so multitasking will be smooth.Nokia 700 features Symbian Belle, the latest update of the Symbian^3 OS. Symbian Belle comes with a number of improvements like an improved user interface with widget redesigns, movable & resizable widgets, multiple customisable homescreens, improved social media support, improved multitasking experience, and the latest Nokia Ovi Maps.Symbian Belle offers six customisable homescreens, 3 more than is available on the Symbian Anna, giving you easy access to what is important to you. It also comes preloaded with a number of business apps from Microsoft like Sharepoint, OneNote, Exchange ActiveSync, Lync, and PowerPoint Broadcaster. Near Field Communications NFC is now deeply integrated in the Belle OS, making it easy to share contents with just a tap.

Display

Nokia 700 features a 3.2-inch AMOLED display with a Corning Gorilla Glass on top on top. The display offers similar viewing as the Nokia N9, where icons appear as if they are floating on the surface of the glass. The display of the Nokia 700 is a capacitive touchscreen with 16:9 nHD 640 x 360 pixels resolution. It also features Clearback for improved viewing experience under direct sunlight.

5MP HD camera

Nokia 700 comes with a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. The camera also features LED flash for shooting pictures and videos in locations with poor lighting. Other features of the camera include Face Recognition, full focus, geo-tagging, and so on.

Network, Data, Internet browsing, Connectivity

Nokia 700 features quadband GSM and pentaband WCDMA (3G). It supports high-speed data on HSDPA/HSUPA/WCDMA (up to 14.4 Mbps) plus access to GPRS/EDGE on GSM networks. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for connecting over WLAN networks, Bluetooth 3.0, and USB 2.0. Nokia 700 supports NFC enabling you to easily share contents like photos and videos with other compatible devices by touching them together.

Price and availability

Nokia 700 will be available later this quarter. The estimated retail price for the Nokia 700 based on suggested price of 270 EUR (before taxes and subsidies) is around N60,000.

nokia 700 is the smallest smart phone ever launched... if you are thinking that you have to compromise with features due to its small size... then you are wrong guys... :)
